Reference is made to the announcements dated 30 August 2018, 12 September 2018, 3 October 2018, 10 October 2018, 26 October 2018, 13 November 2018, 16 November 2018, 3 December 2018 and 10 December 2018   (“Announcements”) as well as the circular dated 29 October 2018 (“Circular”) and abridged prospectus dated 24 December 2018 (“Abridged Prospectus”). Unless otherwise defined, the definitions set out in the Announcements, Circular and Abridged Prospectus shall apply herein.

On behalf of the Board, AmInvestment Bank wishes to announce that as at the closing of acceptance and payment for the Rights Issue at 5.00 p.m. on 11 January 2019 (“Closing Date”), Naim had received valid acceptances and excess applications for a total of 263,799,322 Rights Shares, representing a subscription rate of 74.22% over the total number of 355,416,000 Rights Shares available for subscription, resulting in an under-subscription rate of 25.78%.

Notwithstanding that the Rights Issue is under-subscribed, the Company has successfully raised total gross proceeds of approximately RM118.7 million, which is above the minimum gross proceeds to be raised under the Minimum Subscription Level.

Details of the valid acceptances and excess applications received as at the Closing Date are as follows:-

In view that the Rights Issue was not fully subscribed for, the Board has decided to allot the Excess Rights Shares to all the entitled shareholders and/or their renouncee(s) and/or transferee(s) who have applied for the Excess Rights Shares in full.

The Rights Shares are expected to be listed and quoted on the Main Market of Bursa Securities on 25 January 2019.
