Proposed Change of Company's Name

The Company wishes to announce that the Board of Directors of Naim Cendera Holdings Berhad is proposing to change the Company's name from Naim Cendera Holdings Berhad to Naim Holdings Berhad ("Proposed Change of Company's Name). The Company received approval from the Companies Commission of Malaysia ("CCM") on 13 January 2009 for availability of the proposed name "Naim Holdings Berhad". The Proposed Change of Company's Name is subject to the approval of the shareholders of Naim Cendera Holdings Berhad at the forthcoming Extraordinary General Meeting to be convened. The Proposed Change of Company's Name, if approved by the shareholders, will be effective from the date of issuance of the Certificate of Change of Company's name by CCM. A Circular to Shareholders which sets out the details of the Proposed Change of Company's Name will be issued in due course. This announcement is dated 14 January 2009.
